to use common sense. I didn't think this lesson was worthwhile at the
time. But, once I got older and started living on my own, those lessons
started to REALLY make sense (ironically) and using common sense has
helped me in many areas of my life.
However, when it comes to losing weight, there are a few things I learned along the way during my journey that just doesn't make any sense whatsoever... however... they are all IMPORTANT to do... and will cause you to lose weight like crazy! Exercise In Less Time To Lose More Weight And Fat...
"Wait... what?!" "I thought you had to exercise for at least a couple of hours a day and 5+ days a week in order to lose a lot of weight?" Nope! And I thought the same thing too.
You see, the fact of the matter is that if you want to lose weight and get in the best shape of your life, as far as exercise is concerned, there are 2 things you need to focus on the most... your metabolism and muscle.
Those 2 things are what will make the difference on how quickly you lose pounds of fat and get toned and lean.
Guess what? Boosting your metabolism with fitness doesn't mean spending 14 bazillion hours on the treadmill! It means doing workouts that will skyrocket your metabolism... and will also keep it running high for hours after the workout is done. The only 2 workouts that will do this is high intensity cardio (such as high intensity interval training) and weight training exercises.
High intensity exercises (such as non-stop circuit training, H.I.I.T, sprinting, playing sport activities, etc.) and weight training (especially compound weight training such as squats, dead lifts, and bench presses) burn off a TON of calories, they boost your metabolism, and they boost your RESTING metabolism. And a high resting metabolism means you'll burn calories well after the workout is finished!

"Come again?!" "I thought that you had to stay away from fatty foods in order to lose fat and weight?" Yes, you do have to stay away from fatty foods, but not all fat.
The fats you have to avoid are trans fat and saturated fat. The fats you need in your diet (in moderation of course) are monounsaturated and omega fatty acids. These fats will help your body in burning off fat cells, they will provide you with natural energy (great alternative to sugary carbs), they enhance your heart health, and so much more! You can get these healthy fats in nuts, fish, olive oil, natural fish oil supplements, and more.

"Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous!" "Are you seriously trying to tell me that I have to eat more meals in order to lose weight?!" Yes and YES again! Eating more meals will boost your metabolism like crazy and so much more!

What I'm recommending for you to do is to eat SMALLER meals frequently throughout the day (like every 3 hours). Doing this will increase your metabolism, decrease hunger pangs, improve your digestive system (since you're not eating too many calories at once), minimize craving urges, and more.
To make this step even more powerful to be able to lose up to 10 pounds every 2 weeks, I recommend you go on a diet similar to the one I did where you eat more often BUT with a twist. And the twist is that you will shift around the calories you are eating. This trick will SKYROCKET your metabolism like crazy! I should know... I wound up losing over 50 freaking pounds in 8 weeks with this diet method!
